Time to pamper….your fingers

My girls and I paint our nails all the time. They have several books that have nail art designs, so even though I can’t draw a stick figure, I usually have very good success painting little masterpieces on their fingers. It’s fun and it’s good bonding time for us. I love the way my nails look painted. I know I don’t paint them as often as I should, but I’m a mom of four, so I give my self a break.

To have great looking nails you really need a good, healthy foundation. AVON has great products to help achieve this goal. In a step by step process no less. To start out you want to use the Nail Experts Green Tea Cuticle Serum ($4.99 right now). It comes with a little mess free spatula to help apply and what it does is instantly softens those cuticles. Mine are horrible, so this really helps me out.

After you get those cuticles all softened up, time to clip. And what better tool to use that the Nail Experts Comfortable Grip cuticle Nipper ($4.99). It will help you get the cuticles looking nice, cut off those hang nails (I hate those) and any other dead skin that you have on your fingers.

We’re getting these, so now it’s time to shape those babies. With the Nail Experts Comfortable Grip Nail Clipper ($2.99), this will be an easy job. Now, I like my nails with a sportier look, which is more of a squared shape, so I also file my nails to help soften the edges and just give it  a finished look. For $1.99 you can get this really cool retractable nail file from AVON, Its a good price, but just kind of fun to use as well.
